There For Us

My Father loves his children; always has, always will.

And as we give him more and more grandchildren, his love has more places to go and grow.

OH my, what a sweet and tender moment for me this morning. Thank you again for such a marvelous tribute. God has blessed us more than we could have imagined or ever deserve through our wonderful children. Thank you, Son.

Okay, so I've watched them all again just now. I am so overcome. It shows me once again how God really works in our lives. How He heals, how He makes the crooked path straight, how He binds us together, how He makes words unecessary, how He knows the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. How He makes all things well. And how all things work together for good. And He has done that for our family. How good God is, kids--truly. "Chindo" you will never know how much peace and joy this has brought to my own heart. Thank you.

OKAY YOU GUYS IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT ME!
IT'S ALL ABOUT HOW GOD LAVISHES HIS LOVE AND GRACE ON US.

1 John 3:1-2 (New Living Translation)
See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are! But the people who belong to this world don't know God, so they don't understand that we are his children. Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, and we can't even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

Yes, my love. And Amen. I realize now more than ever that we really aren't of this world--what a comfort! It's all about the future life with Him--and preparing for it. That helps us keep days like 9/11 in perspective, doesn't it?

Wait a minute--"but--you're 60!"
